Kiwibob's planes

I got tired of hand launching the tri-fly, and experimented with an undercarriage

Here's my IC tri-fly alongside Tom's electric trifly

There's no question as to which was the most graceful in the air

I also bought this Wot4 off "Wobbly Bill", who had decided to give up flying. It had an SC 52 FS, and was a delight to fly

Then, Oh dear, I was "shot down" again by a member forgetting what frequency he was on. Unable to repair the foam/balsa fuselage, I used plastic square downpipe

Amazingly, it flew very well, and became my favourite plane, although I had to put a larger engine in it due to the extra weight of the plastic. I used a Thunder Tiger 40 pro, which was "just right", and eventually  gained my "A" with it.
After many bumpy landings and repairs, it was becoming too heavy, and the plastic seemed to be suffering from fatigue, so I scrapped it. I still have the beautiful wing and tail feathers, so, who knows, maybe one day another trifly will appear?
